I began writing
novels when I was 12 so my parents gave me a manual typewriter, and I
quickly learned to master the keyboard. By the time I'd graduated high
school, I could type more than 120 words a minute. I was promptly hired
by the Chico Enterprise-Record (my very first job!) and taught
to produce display advertisements.
A few years
later, while working for the New Jersey Herald, I realized I
had the skills to produce my own printed material. I combined my love
of animals with my production talent, and voila! The Animals Voice
Magazine was born. Ten years later, I turned it into a web site,
reaching more than 1000 times as many readers as the print version could
even hope to reach — and for a fraction of the cost!
Now I'm web
site-crazy (can't produce them fast enough). Below are links to the ones
I have currently online (those that are not active links are in the pipeline
as I write this). If you'd like to hire me to have a web site designed,
visit My
Rates page and then contact
me for additional information.
Also in the
list below are the books I've designed and produced, one I wrote, and
a few of the magazine articles I've had published.
